Bernard Ouellet has two Bachelor degrees (one in special education and another in sexology) and has recently completed his Master’s degree in clinical sexology. He has worked as a teacher with children with special needs (learning disabilities and behaviour disorders) for over 15 years at the Commission Scolaire de Montréal (CSDM). He has also had the opportunity to work for the St-Justine hospital (child psychiatry wing) and has been teaching in past years for the Université de Sherbrooke. His experience as lead him to work for several organizations such as the CEE (centre des enseignants et enseignantes) at the CSDM and Luluberlu. As a sexologist, he has also been involved in several research projects for Action Séro-Zéro, the Direction de la santé publique de Montréal and now with the Canadian Cancer Society.
His aim, as a sex therapist, is to guide couples (heterosexual or homosexual), men with sexual disorders (compulsive sexual behaviour, erectile dysfunction, ejaculation disorder, decreased sexual desire, sexuality and HIV, sexual orientation, …) and people with emotional disorders and/or relationship difficulties (violence, separation, grieving process…) to cope with such issues and overcome the barriers preventing them from enjoying a fulfilling sex life.
